Dr. Andrea Klink University Tübingen

After graduating from high school, Dr. Andrea Klink started her training as a dental technician, which she completed in 1999 with the apprenticeship exam. This was followed from 1999 to 2004 by studies in dentistry at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen.

Since 2004, she has been employed as a research associate and since 2016 as a senior physician in the Department of Dental Prosthetics and Propaedeutics (Medical Director, dep.: PD Dr. E. Engel) at the University Clinic for Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Tübingen.

Her treatment focus lies in the area of esthetic all-ceramic restorations as well as complex functional rehabilitation. In the field of university teaching, she has been leading the clinical student courses for Dental Prosthetics I and II since 2018 and is the study representative for prosthodontic and multidisciplinary teaching in dentistry. She devotes her scientific activities to both clinical studies and surveillance studies in the field of all-ceramic fixed dentures as well as combined fixed-removable dentures. In this context she is also a qualified investigator at the “Study Office for Medical Devices” of the University Hospital Tübingen.

She is a specialist in prosthodontics for the German Society for Prosthetic Dentistry and Biomaterials and a speaker for national and international training providers in the field of restorative dentistry.
