Prof. Dr. Dipl. Ing (FH) Bogna Stawarczyk
Prof. Dr. Dipl. Ing. (FH), M.Sc.
Bogna Stawarczyk studied dental technology at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences after completing her dental technician training. She completed her studies in 2006 with her diploma thesis at the Clinic for Dental Prosthetics at the University of Berne. Later, she attended the postgraduate Master of Science Dental Technology study program at Danube University Krems.
Ms. Stawarczyk completed her doctorate in 2013 at the Ludwig-Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich on the topic of “Long-term stability of CAD/CAM resins”. In 2015, she completed her habilitation in the field of Exp. Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine, with a focus on biomaterials, and was appointed extracurricular professor at the LMU Munich in 2020. From 2006 to 2012 she worked at the University of Zurich as a research associate in materials research at the Clinic for Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics, Partial Prosthodontics and Materials Science. Since 2012 she was an engineer for dental materials science, in 2014 she was senior assistant and since 2015 she has been the head of materials science research at the Polyclinic for Dental Prosthodontics at LMU.
